The Premise

β€œUntil you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

β€” Carl Jung

I'm Jordan Marks β€” psychotherapist, educator, and organizational consultant. For over two decades I've helped individuals, couples, executives, and teams uncover the unconscious patterns that shape their lives and relationships.

My work combines psychotherapy, body awareness, philosophy, experiential learning, mindfulness, and deep inquiry to help people develop a level of self-awareness that fundamentally changes how they relate to themselves and others. The goal is not simply to manage pain. The goal is to become more alive.

Three Simple Truths

The relationship you have with others begins with the relationship you have with yourself.

01
Relationships don't fail from bad communication.

They struggle because people don't understand themselves. Technique can't fix what awareness hasn't reached yet.

02
You don't recognize your triggers β€” or where they came from.

Old wounds shape present-day reactions, and we blame our partners for experiences that began long before the relationship.

03
Couples therapy is often individual therapy done together.

Growth happens when we stop focusing exclusively on what our partner is doing and begin examining our own contribution to the dynamic.

From past cohorts

"We came in barely speaking. By week four we had language for things we'd never been able to name in twelve years together."

β€” M. & R., couple Β· Cohort 02

"When I could finally see my part, the fight I'd been having for years simply stopped being available."

β€” Alex T. Β· Cohort 01

"The repair framework alone was worth the tuition. I've used it in my marriage, with my teenager, and with my mother."

β€” Priya S. Β· Cohort 03
